Troy Set to WHITEOUT Trojan Arena Feb. 23

TROY, Alabama – The crowds this season inside Trojan Arena have been tremendous and create a home-court advantage for the men's and women's basketball programs that is felt by players, coaches and staff. On Saturday, Feb. 23, the Trojans will WHITEOUT Trojan Arena for the huge doubleheader against in-state rival South Alabama starting at 2 p.m.

All Trojan fans are asked to wear WHITE Troy gear to show their support of the teams. Additionally, the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a WHITEOUT game rally towel courtesy of ALDOT while the first 500 Troy students will receive a WHITEOUT game t-shirt courtesy of Premier Dodge Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The entire Troy cheerleading squad will be in attendance and the pep band will have a larger number to add even further to the environment that surrounds the WHITEOUT game presented by Troy Bank and Trust. This is an event that no Trojan fan will want to miss.

The Troy football staff will be recognized during halftime of the men's basketball game. Troy football went 10-3, defeated Nebraska in Lincoln, crushed rival South Alabama and established a new school record for the highest attended season in program history and were crowned Dollar General Bowl champions. Head coach Chip Lindsey will speak to the Trojan faithful during halftime as well.

As a "thank you" to all of our tremendous students, all students will be able to receive one (1) complimentary general admission ticket for the games. Students may request their complimentary ticket by visiting the Troy Ticket Office located in the fieldhouse. Students must pick up their complimentary ticket Monday-Friday. Â

Tickets for the games begin at $5 for general admission tickets and provide admission to both the men's and women's basketball games.
