Cody Burrough Named Facility and Event Coordinator

TROY, Alabama – Cody Burrough has been named the facility and event coordinator for Troy Athletics, Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain announced Friday. Burrough previous served as a graduate assistant in the facility and operations department for two years in addition to working as an undergrad.

"We are very excited to bring Cody on board in a full time capacity," McClain said. "Over the last five years, beginning as a student worker continuing as an intern and then as a graduate assistant, Cody has displayed an impressive work ethic and passion for Troy Athletics. He will be a great addition to our team"

Burrough will oversee event management for the Troy softball and tennis programs in addition to coordinating all events in the Stadium Club at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Additionally, Burrough assists will all game management operations for Troy football, men's basketball and women's basketball.

"I am overjoyed to be working for my alma mater, an institution and athletics department that I've grown to love," Burrough said. "I cannot wait to keep growing as a professional and help Troy Athletics progress in a positive direction."

As a graduate assistant, Burrough was Troy's liaison between the Troy Athletics Department and Charles Henderson High School for football games and track & field meets. He also assisted with game management operations for all of Troy's athletic programs.

Burrough has also assisted at the conference level as a game management official at the 2018 Sun Belt Men's Soccer Championships, 2018 Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championship and the 2018 Sun Belt Cross Country Track & Field Championship. He played a vital role in Troy's hosting of the 2015 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship and the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Softball Championship.

He earned his bachelor's degree in sport and fitness management from Troy in 2016 and will complete his master's degree in athletic administration in May 2019.
