Troy Tabs Ebony Jackson as Assistant AD for Ticket Operations

TROY, Alabama – Ebony Jackson has been named Troy University's Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations, Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain announced Wednesday.

"We are very excited to welcome Ebony to the Troy family," McClain said. "She is a critical part of our team and the focused efforts to continue to improve our fan experience. I have no doubt that her personality and work ethic will endear her to our fan base very quickly."

Jackson joins the Troy staff following 18 months as the athletics ticket manager at Central Arkansas where she oversaw an increase in ticket sales during her tenure. In addition to her responsibilities running the athletics ticket office, Jackson was instrumental in a football renewal plan that resulted in a 92 percent retention rate.

"I am excited and grateful to Jeremy McClain and the entire senior level staff for this opportunity," Jackson said. "This is an exciting time to be a Trojan, and I am eager to be part of such an amazing leadership team."

Prior to her stint at Central Arkansas, Jackson spent two seasons as graduate assistant within the Northwestern State ticket office where she increased kid's club members by 300 percent.Â

Jackson received her bachelor's degree in sports and fitness management from Troy in 2014 and her master's degree in adult learning and development from Northwestern State in 2017.
