Troy Softball Releases Fall Schedule

 TROY, Ala.–Troy softball announced its fall schedule on Tuesday afternoon, with five home matches at the Troy Softball Complex. While returning 17 players with 6 new additions to the roster, the Trojans will face three doubleheaders at home, including Mississippi State.

The fall campaign kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. CT against Northwest Florida State College in Troy; followed by two home doubleheaders with Gulf Coast CC and Lurleen B. Wallace CC. The Trojans will play on the road only once over the fall when they travel to Florida State.Â

The Trojans will wrap up the fall season in Troy against Mississippi State for the "Geaux Teal Game" on October 26th. This game will be devoted to former MSU and local softball player Alex Wilcox, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer this year. All proceeds will go to the Geaux Teal Foundation, the chosen Foundation of the Wilcox Family.
