RESULTS

OXFORD, Mississippi – Celia Montero Estevan advanced to the quarterfinals of the Division II flight of the ITA Regional Championships in Oxford, Miss., on Friday.

Estevan defeated Jacksonville's Elena Tendero and Cameron Kriscunas of Ole Miss. The freshman is set to face off against Southern Miss' Katie De La Gorza on Saturday at 1 p.m. to earn a spot in the semifinals.

Matea Mihaljevic fell to Sabina Machalova of Ole Miss in the first round of the Division I flight, but rebounded to defeat UAB's Marlene Herrmann in the singles consolation bracket.

Casas Blas and Estevan fell in their doubles opener, but will take on Herrmann and Sonia Grzymocz at 8 a.m. in doubles consolation play.
