OneTROY T-Shirt Design Winner Revealed

TROY, Alabama – Troy Athletics turned to Trojan Nation to choose the OneTROY T-shirt design for the 2017-18 athletic season and you spoke loud and clear! Design No. 4 that features OneTROY with the Power T on the front and the state of Alabama with the Trojan statue and "Trojans One and All" on the back was the overwhelming winner.

The winning shirt will be available for purchase in the Troy University Bookstore and online at troy.bncollege.com. Adult sizes will sell for $21.98 and youth sizes will be priced at $18.98, and fans can expect to see the shirts on shelves within the next two weeks.

"Excitement for Troy Athletics is at an all-time high, and the response we received for the T-shirt voting is evident of that enthusiasm," Deputy Athletics Director Brent Jones said. "Thanks once more to the Troy University Bookstore for its partnership in this process and to our fans for their amazing response. We are looking forward to seeing a sea of OneTROY shirts at Troy events throughout the season."

The 2017-18 athletics season is right around the corner as the Troy soccer team opens its season against Mercer on Friday, Aug. 18 at the Troy Soccer Complex, while the Trojan volleyball season opener is set for Aug. 25 when they travel to South Carolina for a three-match tournament. The Troy football team opens its season on Sept. 2 when the Trojans travel to Boise State with the home opener set for the following week (Sept. 9) against Alabama State.

Troy's annual Fan Day is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 19, in Trojan Arena from 1-3 p.m. Members of the football, volleyball, soccer and cross country teams plus the Troy cheerleaders and T-Roy. Fans will have the opportunity to pose for pictures, get autographs and receive a free copy of each sports' schedule poster for the upcoming season.

The Trojan Warrior Fund will provide free food and drinks to all fans in attendance. Additionally, locations to purchase 2017 football season tickets and join the Trojan Warriors will be set up in Trojan Arena.

Season ticket packages for Troy football start at low as $60 for general admission seats and fans have multiple options to choose from including Family 4-Packs, Stadium Club and reserved seating.
