Troy Men's Tennis Signs Mali's Top Recruit

TROY, Alabama – Troy men's tennis announced the signing of the No. 1 ranked tennis player in the country of Mali, Seydou Diallo. The 6-foot-3 prospect was a top-10 junior in Africa where he represented Mali in the All-Africa Games on numerous occasions. In his career, Diallo has also participated in ITF events.
"Seydou brings experience and a big game to the men's team," head coach Scott Kidd said. "We are delighted and honored to have Seydou join our team. Â His physical strength and big power game will add depth to the line-up. Â
Seydou has tremendous ability to improve and pursue professional tennis after college. Â We greatly appreciate his family and the Mali Tennis Association for entrusting us to coach Seydou over these next few years. Â We have big hopes and expectations in Seydou."
