Charlotte, N.C. – For the second day in a row, the Trojans picked up victories from every single singles player as three players advanced to the finals and three more will have the chance with suspended rounds resumed Sunday morning in the UNCC Fall Invitational.
Troy came into the match with six seeded players in the tournament and none of those players have yet to lose. Pablo Moreno advanced 6-3, 6-3 over Jordan Hart of Davidson then knocked off the fourth-seeded Scotty Cameron of South Carolina, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, to advance to the finals.
He will be going up against teammate Mustapha Belcora, who got to the finals via a 6-0, 6-2 win over James Massie of Asheville followed by a 6-1, 6-0 upset win over the second-seeded Arturo Pinazzo of Clemson.
Filip Mansson also found himself in finals play with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Aditya Gokhale of Winthrop and a 6-2, 6-2 win over Valentine Horvat of Georgia State.
