Troy Softball Announces 2015 Fall Schedule

TROY, Alabama – Troy has set its 2015 fall schedule for softball, hosting eight games on four weekends at the Troy Softball Complex, head coach Beth Mullins announced Wednesday.

"I think we have put together a good competitive schedule this fall," Mullins said. "We are excited to be hosting all eight games at home, in front of all of our amazing fans."

With all eight allowable games, the Trojans jumpstart their 2015 fall lineup playing host to Mississippi State in a doubleheader on Sunday, September 27. Â Â Troy returns to the field on Friday, October 2, as they welcome Wallace-Hanceville for a doubleheader.

On Saturday October 10, the Trojans will play Northwest Florida at 1:30 p.m., followed by a game against AUM at 4 p.m. Troy will wrap up fall ball on Friday, October 16 with a doubleheader against Gulf Coast Community College.

In her first year at the helm, Mullins was named Sun Belt Conference Co-Coach of the Year. She led the Trojans to a 32-23 overall record and a 14-10 record in the Sun Belt Conference. Mullins also coached the Trojans to three wins against top-25 programs and won back-to-back games against top-10 opponents for the first time in school history, when Troy defeated No. 10 Florida State and No. 7 UL Lafayette on the road.
