Â
The Troy graduating class had representation from 28 U.S. states, one territory and 16 other nations. Troy's 19 student-athletes represented 10 different sports.
Â
Former lieutenant governor and nationally prominent trial lawyer Jere Beasley provided the commencement address. He is the senior member of Montgomery's Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C. law firm, and has earned a national reputation for winning large awards, including an $11.8 billion punitive damage award against Exxon Mobile Corporation on behalf of the State of Alabama.
