Wright Earns All-Sun Belt Honors

LAFAYETTE, La. – Senior outfielder Ebony Wright has been named to the All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team, as announced by the league office during the Sun Belt Conference Championships Family Night on Tuesday.

Wright led the Trojans in batting average, runs scored, triples and stolen bases in 2014, serving primarily as the leadoff hitter. Wright was also the only Trojan to appear in every game this year and has appeared in every game since coming to Troy last season.

Wright was also named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week in early March after going 11-of-18, including 3-of-4 at Georgia Tech, on the week.

The Trojans earned the seventh seed in the upcoming Sun Belt Conference Championships and will take on No. 6 ULM on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
