Softball Family Night Set For Tuesday, Sun Belt Championships Begin Wednesday

LAFAYETTE, La. – Tuesday night marks the start of championship week with the 2014 Sun Belt Conference Championships Family Night beginning at 7 p.m. at Lamson Park.
Â
The evening is free of charge and will give fans a chance to see the teams in a less formal environment, with the announcement of the 2014 all-conference teams, a home run derby and fireworks. Gates will open at 6:45 with the festivities starting at 7 p.m. on the field.

The tournament begins on Wednesday morning, with No. 7 Troy taking on No. 6 ULM at 10 a.m.Â

The Trojans dropped both games with the Warhawks during the regular season, with both going to extra innings.
