McAllister Named All-Tournament

NEW ORLEANS, La. – With the Sun Belt Softball Championships finished and two teams on their way to the NCAA Tournament, the league announced its All-Tournament team from last week's contests in Boca Raton, Fla., with one Trojans finding her name on the list.
Sophomore Kacie McAllister was 3-for-5 in Troy's two games with a run scored and two RBI. The Dothan, Ala. native gave the Trojans productivity from the ninth spot in the lineup while also filling a need in the outfield.
The Trojans played the tournament without regular left fielder Sarah Harris, allowing McAllister to step in the outfield and play great defense as well for the Trojans.
McAllister was 2-for-2 with a walk in the Trojans opening game against ULM while also recording three putouts. She was 1-for-3 against ULM in Troy's final game while also driving in two of the Trojans four runs.
