Troy Softball Camp Information
TROY, Ala. – Troy University softball head coach Melanie Davis, assistant coach Sharon O'Mara and the entire Troy softball staff will hold a series of prospect ID and training camps at the Troy Softball Complex throughout the upcoming summer.
The first camp, a prospect ID and training camp, will take place on June 25-26. The two-day camp is designed for the softball player looking to impress college coaches and compete against athletes of a similar level. There will be an emphasis on fundamentals of playing the game at the highest level.
A pitchers and catchers ID camp will follow on June 27 at the Troy Softball Complex. All camps begin at 9:00 a.m.
Two more prospect ID and training camps will be held on July 27 and October 26.

Troy University Softball Camps offer an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of softball. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful softball players.
Organized games between campers will provide a competitive outlet after specific drills have been practiced. Contests built into drills capture the learner's attention, which results in attentive practice.
Drill progressions will be aimed towards recognizing and developing good habits in all aspects of the game. General courtesy, respect for teammates and opponents and the importance of hard work will be taught to the campers through example by the Trojan coaches.
