Saturday Softball Rained Out, Moved to Sunday

TROY, Ala. – Due to rain, the remainder of Saturday's Quality Inn Classic games have been moved to Sunday. Once again, the Troy Softball Complex on Elm Street as well as the Troy Sportsplex will be utilized.
One game was completed at each site on Saturday morning before the rain began to fall, forcing three games to be scheduled at each site on Sunday. A completely updated schedule can be found at the the above tournament central link.
The second game on Saturday between ETSU and Nicholls State at the Troy Sportsplex actually got underway and the two sides completed an inning. That game will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday while Troy will take to the diamond beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Troy Softball Complex as they take on Ball State.
The Trojans are scheduled to take part in three straight games on Sunday at their home field as they'll also face EKU at 10:30 a.m. and Nicholls State at 12:30 p.m.
