Troy Signee Finalist for National Scholar-Athlete Award

OY, Ala. – Troy softball signee Mackenzie Kayler has been selected as a finalist for USA Today's National Scholar-Athlete Award.
The finalists are selected high school seniors that achieve in academics, community service and leadership.
A team captain and two-time team MVP at Lassiter, Kayler was a two-time all-region and all-county selection.
In her senior year, Lassiter finished fifth in the Georgia High School Association State Tournament, as Kayler was named Region 5 Player of the Year.
Kayler plans to major in nursing at Troy.
