Former All-American goes 3-for-5 in Game Two of the PCL Championship Series
Last night, Clint Robinson continued his hot hitting in Game Two of the Pacific Coast League Championship Series, as the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers knocked off the Sacramento River Cats in Game Two of the Pacific Coast League Championships Series, 15-4.
The win puts the Storm Chasers up 2-0 in the series and just one win away from a berth in the Triple-A National Championship Game, which will be held in Albuquerque, N.M., on Tuesday, September 20 at 7:05 p.m. CST.
In Game Two, the former Troy All-American went 3-for-5, with a double and two RBIs.
Robinson, the seventh-ranked prospect in the Kansas City Royals organization, is currently hitting .348 in the postseason.
The 15 runs scored by the Storm Chasers are the third-most scored this season by the team this year and it was also the most runs scored in the PCL playoffs by any team during the 2011 postseason.
Robinson and the Storm Chasers will travel to Sacramento to take on the River Cats for game three of the PCL Championship Series. First pitch is scheduled for 9:05 p.m. CST on Friday night.
