Softball Releases Fall Schedule

The Trojan softball team will play nine games at home this fall.
2011 Fall Schedule
Head coach Melanie Davis and the Troy University softball team have announced their schedule for this year Fall exhibition season.
The Trojans will host nine games at the Trojans Softball Complex on six different dates. The games are all exhibition games, but fans are encouraged to come out and get a sneak peak of the 2012 Trojan softball team.
Admission to all games at the Trojans Softball Complex is FREE.
The Trojans are looking to build on a 2011 campaign that saw them finish the season at 32-27. Davis, in her 19th season, will look to some key returners in 2012, including Nikki Hollett who had a career season in 2011, blasting 20 home runs with 56 RBI and a .354 batting average.
However, there are question marks for the Trojans in 2012 as they look to replace record-setting pitcher Ashlyn Williams who finished her career last season.
Williams will be replaced with more than one young arm, and fans will get their first chance to see the new hurlers on Friday, September 23 when the Trojans open their fall slate with two games. For a complete look at the fall schedule, click the link above
