T-Roy to Compete at National Competition

TROY, Ala. - The National Cheerleading Association announced that T-Roy, Troy University's mascot, will be heading to Daytona to compete in a National mascot competition.
The competition will be held April 6 through April 10 in Daytona.
T-Roy will compete by performing a skit comprised of crowd involvement, dance, props and creativity. T-roy will be competing against other mascots such as Western Kentuckys Big Red, North Carolina State's Mr. Wuf and Hawaii Pacific's Sharky.
The competition will be comprised of 15 nationally ranked mascots.
T-Roy won third place a few years ago at the USA National mascot competition, and will be looking for a National title this year!
