Trojans Ready For Rattlers

TALLAHASSEE, Fla - The Troy Trojans softball team will face the Florida A&M Lady Rattlers on Tuesday as they try to bounce back from an unsuccessful trip to Louisiana-Lafayette.
“We're looking forward to getting back on the field quick so we can hopefully work out mistakes we made over the weekend,” Trojans coach Melanie Davis said.
The Lady Rattlers (19-27) enter the series on a losing note as well. North Florida knocked off the Lady Rattlers last week in a double-header, but they have won 12 of their last 16 games.
“They have been very successful in their past 16 games,” Davis said. “We need to go down there and play all three phases of the game to the best of our abilities.”
Davis said the Trojans (32-17, 13-8 Sun Belt) know the importance of winning games down the stretch, and they look forward to the challenge.
“We're ready to get back on a winning note, and if we play our game the best we can then it's possible for us to do so,” Davis said. “Florida A&M is a team with a lot of confidence right now, and we're going to have to bring our A-game with us.”
Game times are set for 2 pm and 4 pm central time.
