Trojans Honor Trio of Seniors

TROY, Ala ? The Troy University women's tennis team honored a trio of seniors in an exhibition match against Auburn-Montgomery. Because Mercer University forfeited Sunday's scheduled match, the Trojans honored their three seniors on Tuesday at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.
The first senior is Pau, France native Annabelle Bares who is currently enjoying a great season. Bares is 8-4 in singles action this year and 6-6 in doubles. In her career, Bares is 43-21 in singles matches, including a 16-2 mark in 2007. Bares holds a career 39-26 mark in doubles play.
The second senior is Cairo, Egypt native Rawia Elsisi. Elsisi currently holds an 8-8 record in singles play this year, all coming in the number one spot. She holds a 36-31 career singles record. Elsisi has a 40-28 mark in doubles matches in her career, including a 9-6 mark this year.
Rennes, France native Caroline Joaunin is the final senior. Joaunin currently holds a 10-4 mark in singles play this season, and a 35-30 career mark. Joaunin also holds a 17-26 record in doubles play.
The Trojans played matches against Auburn University Montgomery on Tuesday to prepare for this weekend's Sun Belt Conference Championships in Denton, Texas.
