Davis Gets 700th Win as Troy Sweeps

In game one Williams (now 22-11) tossed her sixth career complete game shutout, scattering three hits and striking out five in seven innings of work for her 22nd win of the season.
Lassiter (6.0 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 4 K; now 4-4) followed that up with a dominating performance of her own, holding North Texas to just two runs on six hits in a complete game of her own. Both runs came on a home run in the second inning.
“It was huge for Cassie to get the complete game. We signed her because we knew she could give us big things at the plate and on the mound and she showed some of that today,”
