DAUFUSKIE ISLAND, SC - The Troy Trojans men's golf program finished off the fall portion of their schedule, playing in the Rees Jones Intercollegiate Golf Tournament hosted by Michigan State University at Haig Point.
The Trojans finished in seventh place just nine strokes behind 25th-ranked Tulsa for the sixth position on the final day. The tournament featured three other ranked teams in 22nd-ranked South Carolina (eventual champion at 15-over par), 29th-ranked Michigan State and NAIA's second-ranked Martin Methodist.
The Trojans shot a 56-over par 920 in three rounds to finish just behind Tulsa and 16 strokes ahead of the nearest competitor. After the first day, the Trojans were tied for fifth place and after day two they were in seventh place.

After an opening round 73, fellow Trojan Jay Harris shot a 77 in round two and 79 in the third and final round to finish tied for 23rd at 13-over par (229).
