Troy Travels to Auburn to Close Out Fall

TROY, Ala. - The Troy men's tennis program closes out the fall portion of their schedule this weekend in the Auburn Fall Classic, hosted by Auburn University. In the tournament, the Trojans will battle two nationally-ranked programs and an in-state rival, before taking time off for the spring season.

Troy opens play against South Carolina, Friday morning at 10 am. South Carolina ended last season ranked 55th in the nation. The Trojans will then battle in-state rival Samford at 10:30 am, followed by a match against 31st ranked Auburn at 2 pm Sunday afternoon. The Trojans will battle Alexey Tsyrenov (21) and Tim Putez (40) from Auburn, both ranked nationally in singles play.

The Trojans will open the spring portion of their schedule against South Carolina January 17, in Columbia (SC).
