Trojans Head To Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. ? Men's and women's tennis action at the UNF Tennis Complex begins at 8 am on Friday, when the University of North Florida hosts the third annual UNF Invitational, which features more than 25 teams from around the nation, including Auburn, Memphis, South Carolina State and cross-town rival Jacksonville.

The ITA-sanctioned tournament will also use courts at Florida Community College-Jacksonville, located a little more than two miles from the UNF campus. First serve on the FCCJ courts (also at 8 am) will begin the men's A doubles bracket, while the men's B doubles bracket also gets underway at 8 am.
“The level of competition continues to rise each year we host the UNF Invitational,” UNF men's head coach Igal Buberman said. “We try to make all the teams feel welcome and host a top-notch event. The coaches have a blast, and the players play a lot of tennis, so it's a win-win situation.”
Action at the UNF Tennis Complex begins with the women's A, B and C doubles brackets.
