Men and Women's Tennis Open Against Ranked Teams

TROY, Ala.- The men's and woman's tennis teams kick off their season against top ranked teams.
The women will travel to South Carolina to take on the 30th-ranked Gamecocks this afternoon and the 10th-ranked Clemson Tigers on Saturday.
The women begin play Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center in Clemson.
The men will kick off their season matches against 13th-ranked Alabama at 10:00 a.m.at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility at the University of Alabama.
The Trojans are in search of their first victory against the Crimson Tide as they trail the series 0-9. Alabama defeated Troy in last season's home opener 5-2.
This will be the Trojans first match of the year.
The men will travel to 52nd-ranked South Carolina Sunday afternoon. Play will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Sam Daniels Tennis Center in Columbia, S.C.
