Troy Tennis Signs Four

TROY, Ala. ? The Troy University tennis program has signed four new players for the 2007-08 season.
Marko Zivkovic, Benjamin Chomette and Edwin van Aerts are all freshman who will join the men's team in the fall.
Zivkovic, a native of Serbia, is ranked in the top-50 in Serbia, while Chomette, a native of France and van Aerts, who hails from Holland are each ranked in the top 100 of their respective countries.
“Signing these three men gives us the depth we've needed,” head coach Eric Hayes said.
On the women's side, Leonie Guijt will join the Trojans as a freshman. Guijt is a native of Holland. She is ranked in the top-80 in Holland.
“Leonie completes our women's roster and on paper it is the strongest team we have had since I have been at Troy,” Hayes said.
