TROY, Ala. ? The Troy women's tennis team has inked two new players Mirte de Bakker and Marine Arres for the 2007-08 season as announced by head coach Eric Hayes on Thursday.
De Bakker, a native of Kapelle, Netherlands, is currently ranked 71st in the Netherlands in singles. She is also ranked 33rd in the nation in doubles.
Arres, a former top-10 player in France hails from Chambly, France. Arres will be the third member of the Troy roster from the country.

"Both of these players address the needs on the team. This past season we struggled at the bottom of our line-up and Marine and Mirte will give us the depth needed to challenge nationally," Hayes said.
