Softball to Host Senior Day in Home Finale Against South Alabama

TROY, Ala. - The Troy Trojan softball team will look to lock up their first Sun Belt Conference championship this weekend when they take on South Alabama in the home finale.
The Trojans (38-17, 14-7 SBC) are currently in first place in the Sun Belt conference standings and have an one game lead over Louisiana-Lafayette.
In the game against South Alabama, this will be the first time that the two teams have faced off in softball. The Jaguars (34-20, 10-10 SBC) are in their first year of softball play.
The Trojans are coming off a double header loss to Florida State on Wednesday. The Trojans lost 5-3 and 4-2.
South Alabama is coming off a 2-0 conference loss to Western Kentucky.
Game time is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday with the second game scheduled to start 20 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Also, during the weekend games the Trojans are set to recognize all the seniors on the team for Senior Day
Admission to all home softball games is free.
