Trojans Fall to No. 42 Middle Tennessee

The Trojans (5-8, 2-3 SBC) fell to the Blue Raiders (11-11) who are the number two seed in the tournament. The match began with singles play and since Middle Tennessee won the doubles matches were not played.
Senior Irving Morales and junior Bona Ung each lost to nationally ranked players for Middle Tennessee. Morales fell to No. 87 Andreas Siljestrom 6-3, 7-6 while Ung lost his match with No. 118 Marco Born 6-4, 6-1.
Freshman Dusan Medan was the only Trojan to force a third set. Medan battled with Middle Tennessee's Marc Rocafort but lost by a final score of 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.
