Trojans Move Up to Fourth-Place Finish at Middle Tennessee/Aldila Intercollegiate

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Under more difficult conditions than yesterday, Troy posted the second-best score of the day Tuesday, 295, to move into a fourth-place finish at the Middle Tennessee/Aldila Intercollegiate. The Trojans were just three strokes out of third place behind tournament host and Sun Belt Conference rival Middle Tennessee State.
Troy posted a 54-hole score of 877 (292-290-295), 15 shots behind team winner Southeastern Louisiana's 862.
Michael McGrady tied for second at two-under 214, just one stroke behind medalist Michael Carnes of Texas State. Jake Brodhead tied for 12th at 218 (72-73-73), while Wes Parker tied for 28th at 223 (74-74-75)..
Jay Harris tied for 33rd at 224 (77-72-75), while Brandon Anthony rounded out the scoring at 234 (75-82-77) in 54th place.
The Trojans wrap up the regular season schedule next week at the ASU Indian Classic in Jonesboro, Ark.
