The Trojans (29-9, 9-3 SBC) are coming off a conference series win this weekend over Western Kentucky. The Trojans won the first game of the series before losing the night game on Saturday. The Trojans then used a stellar pitching performance from Angela Lopez and Amanda Ragans hit her team leading seventh homerun to give the Trojans the 1-0 win.
Lopez threw a no-hitter in the first game of the series on Saturday and for the weekend she pitched 14 innings allowing only two hits and no runs while striking out 13 and walking four.
Georgia State (23-17) lost 2-0 to James Madison on Sunday in their most recent game.
The Trojans own a 27-8 record in the overall series against Georgia State. In last year's meeting, Troy split with the Panthers.
Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST on Tuesday. The Trojans will be back at home on Friday and Saturday when they take on Florida Atlantic.
