Lopez Named Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week

Lopez enjoyed her most dominating week at Troy picking up three wins in three appearances including her second no-hitter of the season as the Trojans recorded a 4-1 record.
Lopez dazzled as she no-hit conference opponent Western Kentucky on 3/31. She pitched a full seven innings allowing no hits and no runs while striking out six.
She returned to the mound on April 1 and threw her second gem of the series pitching seven full innings, allowing only two hits, no runs and striking out seven in a victory.
Lopez also pitched a complete game on March 27 versus Florida A&M. She picked up the win going six innings allowing four hits and only one run while striking out seven.
For the week Lopez threw 20 innings allowing only six hits and one run while striking out 20 batters with an ERA of 0.35.
Lopez is now 12-3 overall with a 1.72 ERA for the season. She leads the Sun Belt Conference in Conference ERA and is second in wins.
