Softball to Play Louisiana Lafayette in Weekend Series

TROY, Ala. - The Troy Trojan softball team will be heading to Louisiana this weekend to take on the ULL Lady Cajuns.
Troy is 1-3 all-time against Lafayette. The two teams last played last year when Troy lost in the conference tournament 4-0
The Trojans (35-12, 13-5) are currently in first place in the Sun Belt Conference. The Trojans went 2-1 in their last conference series, which was also their last game, last weekend when they played North Texas.
Lafayette (37-12) is ranked #21 in the nation is coming off a double header sweep of Houston on Wednesday.
The two teams face off in a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 1:00 PM and a Sunday afternoon single game, also beginning at 1:00.
