At the turn, I was worried because I had better back nines on the first two days,” Skipper said. Today, I hit more greens on the back and had five one-putts. Things just all came together.”
"We came in today with a valiant effort, particularly Danielle," Head Coach Matt Terry said. "We just weren't able to hold off Western Kentucky, though. I am proud of the strides we made this spring and am already looking forward to next year."
Coming in, I had high expectations for the team, not necessarily to finish first, but to be more competitive.” Skipper added. After the first round, the pressure was off. Overall, we are walking away disappointed; We know we could have done better.”
