Trojans to Take on Auburn Wednesday Night

The Troy softball team will welcome the Auburn Tigers to the Trojan Softball Complex on Wednesday.
Troy (14-5) is coming off a 3-2 record this past weekend at the Buzz Classic hosted by Georgia Tech.
Troy opened up the tournament with a 2-0 loss to Radford. The Trojans defeated South Dakota State, Georgetown and Furman before losing to Iowa on Sunday.
Senior Amanda Ragans was named to the all-tournament team over the weekend.
Another Trojan earned honors this week as senior Brooke Powell was named Sun Belt player of the week. Powell went 11-for-20 (.550) and knocked in 10 runs on the week.
Auburn (11-11) leads the overall series with an 8-4 over Troy. Last year Auburn defeated Troy 4-3 in Auburn.
Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Trojan softball complex. All home softball games are free to the public.
Free posters and schedule cards will be given to the first 200 fans. Also, gift cards from Barnes & Noble, Campus Deli, Barnhills, Dominoes, and Wendy's will be given out during the game.
