Trojan Softball to Face Western Kentucky

TROY, Ala. - The Troy Trojan softball team looks to continue their current win streak this weekend when it takes on Western Kentucky this Saturday and Sunday.
The Trojans (27-8, 7-2 SBC) are currently riding a 10 game win streak that started back on March 12 against UL-Monroe.
Troy leads the all-time series with Western Kentucky, 2-1. The Trojans and the Hilltoppers squared off for the first time in 2006 with Troy losing the first game of the series and winning games two and three.
Troy is coming off a double header sweep of Florida A&M on Tuesday. The Trojans won by scores of 10-1 and 13-2.
Western Kentucky (14-20, 2-4 SBC) is coming off a double header loss to Tennessee. The top ranked Vols beat the Hilltoppers 6-0 and 2-0.
Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday with the second scheduled for around 3 p.m. The Trojans will face the Hilltoppers again on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Admission to all home softball games is free.
