McGrady Wins JSU Grub Mart-Young Oil Intercollegiate Title

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. -- Michael McGrady fired his second straight 69 Tuesday to capture medalist honors at the JSU Grub Mart-Young Oil Intercollegiate. Troy finished seventh as a team in the event after totalling 916.

The sophomore finished at two-under 214 with scores of 76, 69 and 69. He was one stroke ahead of Tennessee Tech's Scott Stallings and Murray State's Michael Craft. Columbus State won the team title at 894

Jake Brodhead tied for 13th at 227 (75-78-74), while Jay Harris tied for 40th at 235 (84-79-72). Jordy Hayden (85-81-75) and Wes Parker (86-80-75) tied for 55th at 241.

Troy returns to action on Monday at the MTSU Aldila Intercollegiate.
