Men's Golf Falls to Fifth at Samford Intercollegiate

Austin Peay captured the team title at three-over 867, while New Orleans' Jose Toledo was the medalist at seven-under 209 (71-69-69).
Jay Harris led Troy for the second time in as many full spring tournaments. He was 12th at four-over 220 (73-74-73). Jake Brodhead tied for 15th after a final round of 78 on Tuesday. He entered the day with rounds of 74 and 70 on his card for a score of six-over 222.
Michael McGrady tied for 21st at eight-over 224 (70-75-79), while Jordy Hayden shot 77 to tie for 29th at 227 (72-78-77/+11).. Brandon Anthony rounded out Troy's scoring at 232 (82-72-78/t47th)..
Wes Parker, playing as an indivivual, is tied for 62nd at 240 (80-83-77)
Troy has a quick turnaround as it returns to Northern Alabama on Sunday to compete in the JSU/Grub Mart Golf Intercollegiate in Gadsden, Ala.
