Trojans Head to Georgia Tech for Buzz Classic

The Trojans (11-3) are off to one of their best starts and look to continue their winning ways this weekend.
Troy is coming off a double header sweep of Florida A&M on Tuesday. The Trojans won the first game 5-1 and the second game 15-10.
Freshman Rocky Paige had two homeruns in game two to help lead the Trojans to the win. Brooke Powell also had a homerun against FAMU.
Junior Angela Lopez earned both victories on the mound for the Trojans.
The Trojans will be facing three opponents in their pool this weekend. Troy will open up against Radford at 2 p.m. and South Dakota State at 5 p.m. on Friday.
Radford (4-10) is coming off a double header loss to Virginia Tech on Wednesday. South Dakota State (1-3) is coming off a 10-8 win over Drake.
On Saturday, the Trojans will face off against 1-8 Georgetown at 10 a.m. and then Furman at noon. Furman is 6-5-1 on the season after sweeping Charleston Southern on Wednesday.
