Women's Golf Finishes Eighth at Ann Rhodes Intercollegiate

CALERA, Ala. -- Troy dropped two spots in the team standings Tuesday, but still placed eighth of 21 teams at the Ann Rhodes Intercollegiate, hosted by Birmingham Southern. Kaley Branton fired her second straight 77 to tie for 12th at 154.

Charlotte Sundqvist tied for 33rd at 158 with a pair of 79s, while Danielle Skipper moved up 16 spots in the standings to a tie for 42nd by adding a 79 to her oepning 82. Desirae Zine tied for 53rd at 163 (79-84).

Sarah Weldon rounded out the Trojans scoring at 197 (103-94), in 129th place.

Troy returns to action next Monday and Tuesday at South Alabama's Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate.
