Trojans Prepare for Meeting with Panthers

TROY, Ala. - The Troy University softball team will travel to Atlanta, Ga., on Tuesday for a doubleheader with Georgia State before the conference opener on Saturday against Louisiana- Lafayette.
The Trojans (20-24) are currently on a four game losing streak after dropping four games last week to Georgia Southern and Samford.
Troy leads the series with the Panthers 26-7 and has won the last seven meetings. In 2005, the two schools met three times with the Trojans winning by scores of 8-0, 2-0 and 7-1.
The first pitch is set for 3 p.m. at Bob Heck Field.
