Riley Sets State-Wide Tennis Week

The Troy University men's tennis team is one of 19 teams competing in the tournament, and 16 of those are ranked in the ITA top 75.
The Blue Gray Classic began in 1949 and regularly features some of the nation's top collegiate players.
This tournament is one of the oldest tournaments in not just the South, but also the nation,” tournament chairman Paul Winn said. We feature some of the top collegiate programs in the country. Coaches who come here say that outside of the NCAA Championship, the Blue Gray is the best tournament in the country, and also one of the toughest.”
It is an honor to play in the Blue Gray,” Hayes said. It is one of the toughest tournaments, and we will have to opportunity to compete against some of the top teams in the country. We'll be ready.”
The Trojans will open their tournament play on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Lagoon Park. Their opponent will be announced later this week.
