Men's Golf Finishes 15th at Dick Wittcoff/USF Invitational

TAMPA, Fla. -- Troy continued its steady progress at the Dick Wittcoff/USF Invitational Sunday, posting its best round at 300, but stayed in 15th place as the event concluded with a score of 912 (309-303-300). Michael McGrady was the top Trojan finisher in a 19th-place tie at 10-over 223 (79-70-74).
Sun Belt rival Middle Tennessee won the team title at 19-over 871. Florida Southern's Greg Koch fired a two-under 211 to take individual medalist honors.
Keith Crowley finished tied for 39th at 227 (79-73-75), while David Rasco tied for 72nd at 235 (77-78-80). Jay Harris (80-82-74) and Jake Brodhead (74-85-77) each tied for 77th at 236.
Troy returns to action March 20 when it practicipates in the JSU/Grub Mart Golf Intercollegiate in Gadsden, Ala.
