Trojans Sweep Memphis, 7-0

Memphis (3-10) was playing short a player, so they defaulted in the No. 3 doubles position and No. 6s singles spot. The Trojans (11-3) won both the Nos. 1 and 2 doubles positions to take the doubles point.
In singles play, Rawiaa Elsisi, Tsitsi Masviba, Claudia Strauss, Annabelle Bares and Shamiaa Elsisi each won their matches in straight sets.
The girls played really well today,” Troy head coach Eric Hayes said. They did what they needed to do to get the win.”
The Trojans will return to action on Wednesday when they play at Ole Miss. The Trojans will be looking to avenge a 7-0 loss from last season.
We've been looking forward to that match for a year,” Hayes said. That loss last year was embarrassing, and we've been looking forward to another chance at them.”
