Two Advance to Semi-finals at Florida State

TROY, Ala. - Freshmen Dusan Medan and Bastian Maucher advanced to the semi-finals of the Seminole Invitational hosted by Florida State on Saturday.
Medan defeated Yuiti Lopez of North Florida, 6-2, 6-1 to advance to the semi-finals of the B draw. Medan will play on Sunday at 8:30 and if he wins will play in the finals at 1 p.m.
Maucher defeated Troy freshman Collin Van der Hill, 6-4, 7-6 to advance to the semi-finals of the C draw. Maucher will play on Sunday morning.
Senior Irving Morales fell to Miami's Daniel Vallverdu, 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals of the A draw.
Play will begin at 9 a.m. each day at the Scott Spiecher Tennis Center on the campus of Florida State.
