Action Packed Second Round at USTA Tennis Classic

No. 2 seed Ashley Harkleroad of the United States defeated Greta Arn of Germany by scores of 6-3, 6-3.
No. 3 seed Milagros Sequera of Venezuela rolled past Carly Gullickson of the United States 6-2, 6-4.
No. 5 seed Aleksandra Wozniak of Canada held off a tough second set push from Tiffany Dabek of the United States to win 6-2, 7-5.
No. 6 seed Ahsha Rolle and No. 8 seed Angela Haynes, both of the United States, cruised into the quarterfinals with straight set wins.
The big upset of the day came after the No. 1 seed doubles team of Tetiana Luzhanska and Agnes Szavay fell in straight sets to Carly Gullickson and Shenay Perry by scores of 6-3, 6-2.
Singles quarterfinals and doubles semifinals will take place Friday at the Lunsford Tennis Complex starting at 10 a.m.
