Men's Golf Finishes 10th at Sam Hall Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Troy fired a nine-over 293 Tuesday to close its fall schedule in 10th place at the Sam Hall Invitational at the Canebrake Country Club.

Brandon Anthony tied for 19th after an even-par 71 on Tuesday. He carded a pair of one-over 72s on Monday for a score of two-over 215. Michael McGrady tied for 31st at four-over 217 (72-73-72), while Jordy Hayden slipped to a tie for 41st after a 78 on Tuesday. The co-leader after an opening round of 68, he finished at seven-over 220 (68-74-78).

Jay Harris tied for 58th after three straight 75s (225/+12), while Jake Brodhead was alone in 59th at 230 (80-75-75/+17).

The team will resume its 2006-07 schedule in March at the Dick Wittcoff/USF Invitational.
