Troy Set to Host #6 Alabama in Softball Action

TROY, Ala. - The Troy University Softball Team will host the Alabama Crimson Tide Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Lady Trojan Softball Complex. The Crimson Tide, who are currently ranked No. 6 in the nation by the NFCA/USA Today Coaches Poll, come to town with a record of 15-1.
Troy is coming off of a two-game sweep of Alabama A&M and are looking for their first victory against the Tide. Game time, originally scheduled for 4 p.m., was moved to accommodate Alabama, who will be travelling to Columbus, Ga. to take part in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Leadoff Classic.
