Troy set to compete in ITA regional tournament

Sophomore Irving Morales earned a nine seed and a first-round bye in the main draw. He will take on the winner of the match between Paul White from LSU and Marco Born from
Senior Daniel Quiceno plays Kristijan Mitrovski from UAB in the first round of the main draw.
Morales and Quiceno will pair up to compete in the doubles tournament.
The Southeast Regional features 24 of the top 120 players in the country, including Morales, who is ranked No. 91 by the ITA.

The Southeast Regional is one of Seventeen ITA Regional Championships for NCAA Division I men and women taking place over these last three weekends of October at campuses throughout the country. The singles winner and the doubles finalists advance to the 2004 ITA National Indoor Championships. The 2004 ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships, the nation's premier collegiate indoor tennis tournament, is the second of three national championship events for college tennis this season. The first events - the Riviera/ITA Women's and IcyHot/ITA Men's All-American Championships - were held earlier this month, and the third event is season-ending NCAA Championships in May.
